A bit late but happy new year everybody, good luck all for 2012 . I only just got the retro
doublewide compressor. I also purchased a AML 54F50 compressor for my api lunchbox.
Have not yet tested these properly but seem super smooth on vocals. Working with
production team Muddyloop from London - Top notch urban/pop productions.

Api 500 series has been around for few years now. I've recently jumped on the band wagon
and purchased a Api lunchbox 6b. Which allows upto 6 modules. Now! What modules to get ??
There are many out there ! Eq's, Compressors and Mic pre's ! But this one caught my eye.
Retro Instruments, Doublewide compressor. Should be killer on vocals, guitars and bass !!
I'll let you know once I receive it.

Busy times thankfully ! One of producers I have been working with is a chap called Steve
Jones. Very talented indeed. He's been writing for an artist called Junior Guevarra. They
are getting together his four track showreel because of interest from Sony publishing. I 've

Jon Allegro was one of my first customers when I started mixing professionally back in
2009. He's currently No.1 and No.3 in the Stompy.com top 100 charts. Well done Jon!,
your hard work is paying off! I'm not sure how big Stompy.com is but I think it's
fairly big amongst the dance producers. Check out his track 'Honey Honey'.

July 2011

One of the Mix-off's hosted on gearslutz.com was by Ken Lewis. Not only is he a top US
mix engineer (Kayne West, Usher, Mary J. Blige) he also produces aswell.
He provided the audio files for the mix-off and also critique'd the 50 entries. Giving all
participants valuable feeback. My mix got a great review and was listed as one of the top 3.

Starboy Records are back with there 2nd album from Yung Tunez! Album to be released
11.11.11. Mixed a cut called 'Do em'. Very nice clean sounding hiphop joint !!
Hopefully it will make the ablum, fingers crossed. Brought the
Uad studer A800 tape sim plugin. Cant really explain how this
sounds but it adds a really nice shine to a vocal. Tried it on the
mix bus for rap mix. Worked well too. Very impressed with UAD as usual.
Still haven't decided on a new PC yet !!

Finished another two tracks on Wayneroy's album. He's getting some great feedback.
Album to be released on the 14th April. Good luck !! What an great voice !!
Doing some mixing for a London DJ / Producer by the name of DJ Posh.
Very cool souding house tunes !! Need to upgrade my PC. Looking at the new sandy
Bridge motherboards with the intel i7 2600k processor !! Insane speeds !!

Got my head around Pro tools 9. Love the ease of editing, setup of inputs outputs,
bus and aux sends !! Which is better Cubase or Pro tools ?. Neither, both are brilliant
programs !!! I also upgraded PT9 with the complete production toolkit 2. This basically
upgrades Pro tools to have the same features as Pro Tools HD. I've been mixing
rock, pop, dance, R and B and Hiphop so a busy start to the year !! Check out the

Firstly, Happy New Year ! Sorry haven't had time to do an update lately. Great end to
the year. Thankfully busy and just seen the full video to a track I produced/mixed. Check
it out on my new blog here ! Couple of studio upgrades. I'm now running Pro tools 9 software
which is superb. Installed my new UAD-2 card, gonna be testing out the studer tape plugin soon.

Just updated my music player with some recent mixes i've done! Producers 'Team BPM' with the track
'Robot' featuring vocalist 'NAI VERONIQUE'. Paul Petersen with the song Lady Melody. And finally
the track by group 'Born of Grace' song 'On the road'. Some of my favourites !!! Enjoy !!

Recently brought a new video camera. As you can see on my home page there is a short video I
made about my online mixing service. I wanted show clients, who the person is behind my mixing
website, and give a brief intro !! Lately there has been a lot of online mixig sites appearing.
Showing off very nice SSL desks. Are these pictures there studio ? Are they actually mixing your
tracks there ?? With very little information about themselves, who is the mix engineer ?????

Producing this month for a artist called Yung Tunez. I have been only mixing his stuff but I
sent him some ideas I produced. The track were working on is called 'Here I am' the video has
been shot and is being edited. Link up soon !!. If you need beats at a high standard holla !

Working with UK Hiphop artist 'ICE' and her producers. I've been mixing her 4 track EP. Also been
putting my new analog toys to the test. The SSL converters and NEVE 8816 mixer sounds absolutely
amazing. ICE was very happy with her mixes and is currenly in the States promoting herself !
I'll shall be putting up the sound examples very soon - watch the music player for a update !

Studio upgrade - All mixes now run through a NEVE 8816 summing mixer. Converters upgraded to
the SSL Alpha link madi AX. Now get that sweet saturation and warm analog sound with your mixes.

The dance/house mixes on music player was produced by Derek Gibbons. If you want to find
more about him and his music go here!. Softube released another excellent plugin. This time a EQ.
The Trident A-Range eq sounds super sweet, very natural and musical. Had to buy it.
Are you a Michael Jackson fan, are you into the production of his music and how it was recorded.
Check this thread at my favourite forum - Gearslutz.com. People posting about there time working
on the Dangerous album. Great read !!!!

member has setup a monthly Mix-off. Join in and download the session files and enter your
mix. You have one week to mix the track. Members then discuss there techniques and give

What a great year !!. Very surprised how many tracks I have mixed over the last six months.
For a new business I couldn't of wished for anything better. Looking forward to 2010. Mixing
the album for artist 'Yung Tunez' from the States. Watch this space! he's good !!!

My son was born on the 7th November 2009. Busy looking after mum and Baby Guy !! Still been
mixing as much as possible. Sorry if I couldn't mix your tracks. Things are settling down so
send me your new tracks !! Brought a new software compressor - Check out the Softube Tube-Tech
CL-1B its amazing !!

October 2009

Got some wicked tunes to mix from producers 'Hooks and chain'. Check out the first two
tracks on my player. Rama one of the producers also performs the vocals. Great stuff !

Last month I started working with songwriting team Ambray. There music works really
well with there vocalist, Hannah. I mixed 4 of there tunes, which sound great. Check out

NEW news and updates page, will be updating as much as I can....

Having a great time at the moment, lots of new clients finding me. And there coming back
for more mixes and mastering which is great news, very encouraging . I'll have a clients links
